GTSI has been providing cost effective, turn-key solutions to clients in need of a method to overcome poor soil conditions that prohibit installation of standard foundation designs.  As the Mid-Carolina region continues to grow, quality building sites are becoming scarce and scattered.  Economics drive project sites to locations previously neglected due to a variety of reasons, including poor soil conditions.  The solution may be easier than you think.  Our TOTAL IN-HOUSE caisson services are cost effective and save valuable schedule time over such traditional methods as piles, wrapping stone for deep foundations or using multiple contractors to deliver a system that works in poor soil conditions. 

Our team will provide an engineered design of a caisson support system for the following:

• cast-in-place retaining walls.

Our services also include post construction support systems for failed foundations for which we can either stabilize or jack back into place.  Our caissons are extended to bearing soils and backfilled with minimum 3000 psi concrete to design foundation elevation.  Once poured our design includes required grade beam and rebar sizing.  On completion of the caisson system GTSI provides engineered drawings to satisfy local municipality code enforcement agencies.
